Human beings are naturally impatient, and this even extends to the pursuit of a hard body. Many will ask how to build muscle quickly and, in fact, there are some solid tips that you can follow to get yourself results within a matter of weeks.

What you have to start accepting is that you simply wont gain a lot of muscle if you are not willing to gain fat in the process, especially if you are training naturally and without the use of steroids and growth hormones. As a side note I would never recommend taking these drugs as you will get addicted and the will ruin your body, even though you might not feeling the side effects today, you will feel them in a couple of years.

Learn to trick yourself. One of the best ways to build muscle is to be consistent. If you are having one of those days where you can’t get motivated, just tell yourself to get into the gym and give it 20 minutes – chances are, once you are there you will get into it and just go on way past the 20 min mark. The trick is in getting yourself there to begin with!

The key to getting an effective workout is to perform about eight to twelve repetitions per set. And when you reach that final repetition in the set, you should not be able to do another one. You should be at failure and absolutely unable to do another one. If you can, then you are simply not using enough weight and need to increase it. This is the most effective way to work out with weights and will give the most rapid growth in muscle tissue.

Lastly, motivation is very important. Diet and workouts are key in learning how to build muscle quickly, but you cannot achieve any of it unless you have the correct motivation. Make sure your head is in gear first. Ask yourself — why do I want to build muscle. If it is simply to get one girl, forget it!

You want to get a lot of carbohydrates also as these help you gain the weight you want to gain. Good carbohydrate sources for bulking are potatoes, oatmeal, brown rice and vegetables. You have to calculate how many calories you need to eat, it all depends on your weight. But ideally, 3500 calories and 300 grams of protein a day will make you grow at an extreme rate. You will also get a lot stronger and if you follow this plan to a tee you are guaranteed to see results very fast. If you were wondering how to build muscle then these strategies will help you.
